All Nissan warranty plans are cancelable and transferable. They have
a 60-day "free look" period during which the customer may cancel the
contract and receive a full refund for their Nissan extended warranty
as long as a claim had not been filed. This is one of the most
consumer-friendly policies in the industry.
If you want to cancel your Nissan Extended Warranty Plan, simply
call or stop by your local Nissan dealer and pick up a cancellation
form. Send it in to the address provided on the form. Your request will
be handled promptly.
If you sell your vehicle before the Nissan Extended Warranty
expires, your contract can be transferred to the new owner upon sale of
the vehicle.
You may also choose to cancel the remainder of the contract for
which a prorated refund will be given to you. An administrative fee may
apply. View actual Nissan Extended Warranty contract (PDF) for additional details
